I know everyone negatively commenting on this likes to say they are an engineer, physicist, electrician, professor, and the smartest person in the world when it comes to EMF's, but if you believe this is not hurting you then you are wrong.

Martin L. Pall, Ph.D., is a Professor Emeritus of Biochemistry and Basic Medical Sciences, Washington State University, Pullman, Washington. He has been studying EMF's for over 10 years and lectures on how ionizing and nonionizing radiation are both quite harmful to our brains, organs, and cells. Prostate Cancer: The Symptoms You Need to Recognize Early

(Press Association via AP Images)

By Lynn Allison    |   Monday, 12 November 2018 10:10 AM

Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer affecting men in the United States. According to the American Cancer Society, estimates for the year 2018 alone reveal around 164,690 new cases and 29,430 associated deaths.

“A simple rectal exam which takes less than a minute and a yearly PSA blood test starting at age 40 are good screening tools urologists used to detect any changes in the prostate gland,” says Dr. David Samadi, chairman of Urology and chief of Robotic Surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, in an article published in Medical Daily.

However, you should be on the alert for these tell-tale symptoms of prostate cancer which is easily treatable if detected and diagnosed in early stages.

  1. Bladder Control Problems. Urinary incontinence can be a sign of problems with the prostate, a walnut-shaped gland located just below the bladder. Cancer can cause enlargement and weakening of the prostate which in turn can block the urethra. As a result, eliminating can become difficult and erratic. Some symptoms include straining, leakage, an over active bladder and a feeling of incomplete urination.
  2. Pelvic Pain. If you have shooting pain in the pelvic area this could be a signal that cancer is attacking the nerves in that region. According to the American Cancer Society, pain or tightness in the hips, lower back and chest could indicate that the cancer is spreading to the bones. Although rare, feeling numbness in the legs or feet may be the result of cancer pressing on the spinal cord.
  3. Blood in semen or urine. If you spot blood while urinating or ejaculating —medically known as hematuria and hematospermia respectively -- have it checked out says Dr. James Wysock, a urologist oncologist and assistant professor of urology at New York University Langone Health. Even a pinkish hue could be an early sign of a problem. If it’s not prostate cancer, it could be the result of a urinary tract infection, kidney stones, sexually transmitted disease, blood clotting or inflammation.

Prostate cancer metastasis: Where does prostate cancer spread?

I'm concerned about prostate cancer metastasis. Where can prostate cancer spread?

Answer From Erik P. Castle, M.D.

In theory, prostate cancer cells can spread anywhere in the body. In practice, though, most cases of prostate cancer metastasis occur in the lymph nodes and the bones.

Prostate cancer metastasis occurs when cells break away from the tumor in the prostate. The cancer cells can travel through the lymphatic system or the bloodstream to other areas of the body.

More commonly prostate cancer metastasis can occur in the:

  • Bones
  • Lymph nodes
  • Lungs
  • Liver
  • Brain

Rare locations of prostate cancer metastasis include:

  • Adrenal glands
  • Breasts
  • Eyes
  • Kidneys
  • Muscles
  • Pancreas
  • Salivary glands
  • Spleen

If you've been diagnosed with prostate cancer and you're concerned about prostate cancer metastasis, talk with your doctor about your risk of prostate cancer metastasis and your treatment options.

Prostate health: Don’t become the next victim

Posted by:  on March 13, 2014

You know what the definition of insanity is, right?

It’s doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. And by that definition, all too often the mainstream approach to medicine strays across the line into insanity. There’s no better example of this than its treatment of prostate health and prostate cancer.

Let’s face it, no matter how much of a stoic you are, when you hear the word cancer come out of your doctor’s mouth, it’s like someone dropped a bomb on you. Your head starts spinning and alarm bells begin blaring at full blast.

Trust me, I get it.

But, the problem is, when it comes to prostate cancer, mainstream medicine has hijacked this natural fear response and turned it into a multi-billion-dollar industry. And countless men are paying a price that goes far beyond dollars and cents (hmm, or maybe that ought to be “dollars and sense”?).

Impotent and in diapers

As I’ve explained before, you’re far more likely to die WITH prostate cancer than FROM it. Most prostate cancers are incredibly slow growing, and aren’t a threat to your life. Well, that is until you become the next victim of unnecessarily aggressive mainstream therapies.

And becoming a victim is far too easy because, let’s face it, once you hear those terrible words “You’ve got cancer,” one of your first coherent thoughts is likely to be, “What can I do to get rid of it?!?”

That’s why I’ve never been a fan of yearly PSA testing. Too many hasty and poor decisions follow in its wake.

The twin epidemics of over-screening and over-diagnosis have ruined far too many lives. I shudder to think how many men have been left impotent or in diapers because of a slow-growing tumor that they may never have even known existed for the rest of their long and fulfilling lives.

Statistically speaking, by the time we hit fifty, half of us will be experiencing some type of prostate health problems. If you’re finding it hard to sleep through the night without a potty run… or if you’ve taken to mapping out all the rest spots before a road trip these days… you might already be in that group.

If you’re lucky enough to reach eighty… and as a Guide to Good Health reader I’m sure you will… then it’s practically a done deal that you’ll be sharing your life with an enlarged prostate.

Support your prostate health with supplements

But I’ve got great news! You DON’T have to just grimace and bear it while you make yet another mad dash to the can. There IS another way, and it doesn’t involve risky surgeries or sickening rounds of radiation.

If you’re not already experiencing prostate health problems, you may be able to head them off at the pass. And if your prostate has begun to make its presence known, you can tackle those annoying symptoms with some super support brought to you courtesy of nature.

A mix of just the right herbs and supplements may even assure you of never again missing the ending of a movie, or having to deal with your buddies ribbing when you have to holdup the poker game for yet another bathroom break.

Men shouldn’t eat soy???

Men shouldn’t eat soy???

 Men shouldn’t eat soy???

The concerns about the estrogen-like activities of soy have caused some to worry that soy products could decrease a man’s testosterone, but clinical studies don’t support this fear. There are at least two reports of men who have experienced feminizing changes in their bodies (one of whom had Type 1 diabetes) after consuming high doses of soy, but even at higher-than-average rates of consumption — higher even than what’s typical among Asian cultures — science has found no evidence to caution men against eating soy. In fact, men may even benefit from some dietary soy, as it seems to decrease prostate cancer risk.
