Did you know that doctors
and scientists can be corrupt or simply wrong?
People seem to give doctors and scientists the benefit of the doubt when it comes to their findings and opinions on things like global warming, genetically modified organisms, pesticides, chemicals, and
how unhealthy certain foods and habits are.
But like any other humans, scientists and doctors are, well, human. They can be misguided, confused, corrupt, and stubbornly opinionated.
According to Natural News, as many as 20,000 doctors
once recommended smoking cigarettes to aid digestion. In 1940’s Camel ran an ad campaign that claimed “More Doctors Smoke Camels.” They even handed out packs of Camels to doctors at a medical convention and then polled the doctors on their
way out the door, asking what their favorite cigarette brand was, or what kind they had in their pocket at that moment.
Unfortunately, money has corrupted industries like big pharma who pay doctors
and scientists to take a position and prescribe particular drugs and treatment. Many peer-reviewed studies have predetermined outcomes which basically find the facts to fit their narrative. It is more a marketing ploy to publish in scientific and medical journals
than proof of the actual findings.
But even absent actual corruption, basic mistakes are being made
in scientific conclusions.
Correlation is not causation. This is a basic foundational tenet of science. Two things may be very strongly correlated, but that does not prove that one causes the other.
According to Reason Magazine:
Kabat discusses how “the dose makes the poison,” in that saying something doubles your risk of a disease could actually be statistically irrelevant.
For example, you may have heard that
eating bacon increases the risk of colorectal cancer. Technically, this is true. If you eat two slices of bacon every day of your life the risk of colorectal cancer increases from 5 to 6 percent. That is not exactly the same risk as smoking
cigarettes, which increases the risk of lung cancer by 20 to 50 times over.
And then, of course, you must consider the editorial bias. You’re Risking Your Life Eating Bacon is more likely to get a click than Everyday
Bacon Eating Increases Cancer Risk by 1%.
Here’s the thing, I like to be healthy, and I personally often follow the better safe than sorry principle. But it is a huge miscarriage of authority to push this view on others
through fear. It is the idea of I know better than these silly peasants that unfortunately seems to permeate the scientific and medical communities.
Are GMOs, pesticides, and chemicals like BPA
really as bad as they say? I personally avoid them, but I honestly haven’t done enough of my own research to know for sure.Salt and fat have gone back and forth as being considered healthy
and fat have gone back and forth as being considered healthy then unhealthy, then healthy again by experts.
People look to doctors and scientists for guidance and too often are brainwashed with those
individuals’ own biases and unsubstantiated opinions.
If an expert cannot or will not answer questions about their work, that is a red flag. When people talk about consensus among experts instead
of the actual facts, that is another red flag.
There have been too many times in recent history when the experts, the scientists, and the doctors were willfully or mistakenly wrong.
Sometimes, yes, we must defer to experts, since it is simply impossible to research it all on your own. But that doesn’t mean we should forgo the due diligence in critical thinking that goes along with it.
Fear sells. We are used to it in the media but don’t usually expect it from doctors and scientists. But they are humans too, and just as likely to push their agenda instead of the truth.

Halal Chief: ‘Australian Women Need Muslims to Fertilize Them’
White Australians will be extinct within 40 years because Australian men are too busy smoking, drinking beer and taking drugs to procreate, a Muslim businessman has warned.
Halal certification chief Mohamed Elmouelhy told his Facebook followers the solution to this perceived demographic crisis for Australian women is for Muslim men to “fertilise them” and “keep them surrounded by Muslim babies”
as part of what he foresees as the gradual Islamisation of Australia.
His observation was in response to a study by researchers from the Hebrew University, published in the journal Human Reproduction Update, which found declining
fertility rates among men in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
“Your men are a dying breed, Australian women need us to fertilise them and keep them surrounded by Muslim babies while beer swilling, cigarette smoking, drug injecting can only dream of what Muslim men are capable
of,” he said.
“Muslims have a duty to make your women happy.”
In an email to news.com.au, Mr. Elmouelhy said the now-deleted post was intended to “stir the bigots” who had allegedly attacked his Facebook page “using all manner of expletives and attacks possible including promises of physical attacks etc.”
“Last night Facelessbook deleted the post, yet venomous messages devoid of any humour addressed to me about Islam remain published,” he wrote. “You can see other messages from the bigots on other posts I have.”
In a longer
version of the first Facebook post, Mr. Elmouelhy warmed to his theme that the future of Australia was tied to Islam.
“It will [sic] mandatory for all women to wear hijab or burka if they prefer, bikinis will be displayed in Museums but not on
nubile bodies anymore,” he wrote.
“When that happens everything in Australia will be Halal certified. Bigots and pigs will be declared Haram and must not be approached or touched, they can live together in reserves. There will be a Halal
butcher on every corner, all other butchers will be offered to convert to Halal or given [sic] a passage back to where their ancestors came from.”
The 2016 Census revealed that Muslims made up 2.6 per cent of the Australian population, up from
2.2 per cent in 2011.

A leading Muslim businessman predicts Australia's white race will become extinct within 40 years because Australian men are too busy smoking, drinking beer and
taking drugs to procreate.
Halal certification boss Mohamed Elmouelhy told his Facebook followers Australian women needed
Muslim men to 'fertilise them' and 'keep them surrounded by Muslim babies'.
Mr Elmouelhy made the comment after Hebrew University in Jerusalem published research which showed sperm counts in men from Australia, New Zealand,
North America and Europe had declined by more than 50 per cent in less than 40 years.

'Your men are a dying breed, Australian women need us to fertilise them and keep them surrounded by Muslim babies while beer swilling, cigarette smoking, drug
injecting can only dream of what Muslim men are capable of,' he said.
Mr Elmouelhy, who is the president of Halal Certification Authority, said Australia's white race 'will be extinct in another 40 years'
if the country is 'left to bigots'.
The Muslim businessman called on these 'bigots' to kill themselves or plan to die.

halal businessman also called on 'bigots' to choose a cemetery plot or commit suicide
'Because you are declining, better go choose a plot for yourself at your local cemetery,' he said.
you can't afford it, commit suicide. It is a cheaper alternative for bigots.'
His comments follow research by Hebrew University-Hadassah Braun School of Public Health and Community Medicine in Jerusalem found male fertility
had sharply declined by more than 50 per cent in less than 40 years in Western nations, including Australia.

The analysis did not explore reasons for
the decline in sperm counts, but researchers have previously cited links to certain chemicals and pesticides, smoking, stress and obesity.
This suggests measures of sperm quality may reflect the effects of modern living on
male health and act as a 'canary in the coal mine' signalling broader health risks.
'This study is an urgent wake-up call for researchers and health authorities around the world to investigate the causes of the sharp ongoing
drop in sperm count,' said Hagai Levine, who co-led the research.
Mr Elmouelhy's latest post comes just days after he predicted more non-Muslims in Australia would be eating more halal food than ever.
2016 Census revealed that Muslims made up 2.6 per cent of the Australian population, up from 2.2 per cent in 2011.
Australia's Muslim population soared to more than 604,000 people, overtaking Buddhism as the most popular non-Christian
religion, and marking a significant jump from 341,000 a decade earlier.
